Rosina Piovani (Uruguay)

I am from Uruguay, South America, where I got a BSc. In Biochemistry at the University of the Republic. After receiving my degree, I worked as a Bioinformatician for several years until I moved my career onto research administration over ten years ago. I have worked in research administrative support in the University of the Republic in Uruguay as well as in University of Cambridge, Cambridge University Press, Journal of General Virology and the EBI in the UK. I also have a drama degree from the Multidisciplinary School of Dramatic Arts in Uruguay. I am extremely passionate about the performing arts having worked in theatre for several years as an actress, director and producer. I also work with groups to integrate drama-based techniques to facilitate team building, communications and creativity. I love cooking, walking, watching series, reading and, most importantly, spending time with my family and friends.
